Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Fortro (“we,” “us”) governing your use of the Fortro app and services (“Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and have a Google account and a YouTube channel to use Fortro. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google and connect a YouTube channel. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. One channel may be associated with one Fortro account; channel-claim conflicts are resolved by us.

3. Acceptable use & community standards

Fortro has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Content or conduct that violates these standards may be removed, and the responsible accounts may be suspended or terminated without notice.

You agree that you will not:

• post or send content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable;
• harass, bully, impersonate, or abuse other users;
• spam, scam, phish, or send unsolicited promotions;
• infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
• upload malware or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• use the Service in violation of any applicable law or of YouTube’s or Google’s terms.

4. User content

You retain ownership of the messages, images, posts, and comments you create (“User Content”). You grant Fortro a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display your User Content solely to operate and provide the Service. You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights to share it.

5. Reporting, blocking & moderation

Fortro provides tools to block other users and to report messages, comments, and posts. We review reports and act on objectionable content and abusive users — typically within 24 hours — including removing content and suspending or terminating accounts. We may remove content or restrict accounts at our discretion to keep the community safe, but we are not obligated to monitor all content.

6. Calls

Fortro supports voice calls between connected users. You are responsible for your conduct on calls, which are subject to the same community standards above.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Profile → “⋯” → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and we are not responsible for the conduct or content of other users.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fortro will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Fortro harmless from claims arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
